Women Empowerment Programs

Livelihood Program

Under Women Empowerment program, Livelihood Initiative we train women in Fashion Design. This training program is designed to teach various dress and accessory making techniques. In this Fashion Design Livelihood Program we cover  form, color, and pattern; patternmaking, textile selection; pattern drafting , draping, fashion drawing, accessories and embellishments. Finally Dress Making!  The goal of this initiative is to encourage, educate and empower underprivileged and economically disadvantaged women in India to establish their own businesses.

Such training will enable them to establish their own custom design and tailoring businesses. During this 2021 year, we are hoping to support 25 rural economically disadvantaged and underprivileged women per batch in the programs. The 3-month hands-on training courses are run by internationally trained instructors. At the successful completion of the program, these trained women will be provided with a brand new branded Sewing Machine and  necessary accessories, fabric and tools to start their own businesses.
